Bee Man  From the fertile farm land of Ponchatoula, to the moist soil of our
Louisiana wetlands, "Ponchatoula's Best Unpasteurized Honey" is
harvested from bee hives tucked away in rural, secluded bee
yards. The result is a select blend of pure Louisiana table grade
  honey for everyone to enjoy!

Ponchatoula's Best is a small family owned business, located in the most rural area of Ponchatoula. To really be able to appreciate our remote location go to google earth and view the vast undeveloped land (Joyce Wildlife Management Area) that surrounds our small farm. In google ignore the picture on your left, its not an accurate view. Look in the upper right hand corner of the map, click on the square satellite link. After the satellite view opens, where you see the mark (A) on the map, look back up the road, we are the first driveway on the left after the Y in the road.

There are three different ways you can purchase our unpasteurized honey. 1.Straight from the farm (call first). 2. From this web site (fast shipping). 3. Visit one of our local dealers. To see a list of our dealers, a link is provided on the left side of this page titled, "Local Dealers".

One main nectar source that we have in abundance, is the tallow tree. Once you taste tallow honey, you will never look back! It is the only honey that I know of that tastes like liquid candy. Blending with all of the other minor nectar sources that bloom at the same time as the tallow, allows us to have liquid gold!

Traditionally one would prefer a local honey from their own area. As honey lovers, we believe that honey is a pure product that should also be enjoyed for the taste as one would enjoy fine wines! When we travel to our favorite vacation destinations, among the first things we do is hunt down the local beekeeper.

Americans consumes twice the amount of honey it produces! Something is veryAmerican Bee wrong with these numbers. Can you imagine consuming a liquid from a third world country? Were we not taught, don't drink the water, but its ok to eat their honey? We don't think so! Buy American! Buy Ponchatoula's Best!
